How do I cancel the 7-day free trial? Will I be charged?
The 7-day free trial is available for eligible users on the Yearly plan and managed by Apple's subscription system. If you do not wish to renew, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. All of your entries and history created during the trial stay on your device.
Will I lose my data if my subscription expires or gets cancelled?
Never. DayShape is local-first: every record, category, and goal lives on your device and stays readable after a trial ends or a subscription lapses. JSON backup and CSV export are free forever. Losing Pro only pauses advanced features like iCloud sync and deep insights — it never deletes data.
Does Lifetime include future major updates?
Yes. One payment unlocks Pro forever, including every Pro feature added in future releases — no renewals, no hidden fees. Note: buying Lifetime does not cancel an active subscription, so cancel it in Manage Subscription first to avoid double billing.
